STONE WATER play soul soaked rock and weave Southern and Americana influences with the sound of Swinging London – deeply rooted in the blues. The debut album MAKE ME TRY has been nominated for the German Record Critics’ Award and got great reviews by “Blues Matters” (UK), “Blues Blast” (US), “Blues News“, “Classic Rock Magazine“ and others.
“This album takes me back to the late sixties when Classic Rock was at its prime. It has a vintage vibe but in doing so it is also has a contemporary feel to it, as the band draw from American Roots music, made famous by bands like Tom Petty, Lynyrd Skynyrd and more recently the Black Crowes.”
Blues Matters – June 2024
The first two tours in autumn and spring were a complete success.
Over the summer Stone Water played at some renowned festivals and open air events – here the band got the chance to present their music to a big audience. The highlight was the show at the Woodstock Forever Festival 2024, where they thrilled the audience on the main stage.
The band is already working on the new material for the follow up record and will continue their tour throughout Europe in 2025.
